Highlights from PKSM operations across Malaysia
Sejak 2020, Persatuan Kecemasan Sukarelawan Malaysia telah mengambil bahagian dalam tugasan sempena sambutan perayaan Thaipusam setiap tahun. Tugas ini dilaksanakan bagi memberikan bantuan kecemasan dan perkhidmatan perubatan kepada para penganut serta orang awam yang hadir sepanjang tempoh perayaan.Pasukan perubatan terdiri daripada, Doktor dan jururawat sukarelawan, Anggota pertolongan cemas (First Aider) daripada Persatuan Kecemasan Sukarelawan Malaysia, sokongan dan kerjasama daripada pasukan perubatan Hospital Selayang dan penglibatan bersama Pasukan Bulan Sabit Merah Malaysia (PBSM). Tugasan pertama ini merupakan satu pengalaman berharga bagi Persatuan Kecemasan Sukarelawan Malaysia dalam memperkukuh peranan sebagai badan sukarelawan kecemasan yang komited kepada perkhidmatan masyarakat. Kerjasama erat antara pasukan perubatan, PBSM, dan Hospital Selayang telah menjayakan operasi ini dengan lancar dan berkesan
Semasa Perintah Kawalan Pergerakan (MCO/PKP) dilaksanakan bagi mengawal dan mengurangkan jangkitan COVID-19, pelbagai sektor berkemungkinan mengundang jangkitan COVID-19 telah ditutupkan dan menyekatkan penerbangan ke luar dan dalam negara. Oleh kerana itu, ramai individu telah kehilangan sumber pendapatan dan sektor perubatan memerlukan sokongan dalam membuat ujian COVID-19 untuk mengawal gejala tersebut.
Pada 20hb & 21hb Mac 2020, Persatuan Kecemasan Sukarelawan Malaysia telah memberikan sokongan ahli ataupun โmanpowerโ untuk membantu dalam ujian COVID-19 di lapangan terbang KLIA 2. Sebanyak 15 ahli Persatuan Kecemasan Sukarelawan Malaysia telah menghulurkan bantuan perubatan dan makanan kepada penumpang-penumpang kapal terbang yang tersekat di KLIA 2
Persatuan Kecemasan Sukarelawan Malaysia telah mengerahkan sebanyak 17 ahli termasuk doktor dan jururawat membantu masyarakat yang terbabit terutamanya di kawasan Sri Muda, Shah Alam.
Di dalam operasi ini, kami memberi bantuan dan perawatan kepada mangsa-mangsa banjir dengan kerjasama Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) di PPS Jeram, Sungai Buloh)
Semasa PKP kami memberi pengangkutan percuma kepada rakyat terutama orang tua dari rumah kebajikan ke pusat vaksinasi dengan sebuah ambulans yang kami ada, kami memerlukan sebuah lagi. Tambahan pula, dengan menggunakan peluang ini PKSM telah menyediakan servis untuk memindahkan pesakit untuk kes tidak kritikal dengan bayaran yang rendah untuk menanggung kos penyelenggaraan dan bahan api ambulans.
Di dalam operasi ini, kami memberi bantuan dan perawatan kepada mangsa-mangsa banjir dengan kerjasama Kementerian Kesihatan Malaysia (KKM) di PPS Jeram, Sungai Buloh)
PKSM mengikuti PPV Klinik Kesihatan Kuala Lumpur dalam pemberian vaksin Covid-19 kepada golongan warga tua dan kanak-kanak OKU.
Tiap tiap tahun kami memberi perkhidmatan semasa perayaan Thaipusam di Batu Caves serta Perarakan dari Batu Caves ke Maran semasa perayaan dalam bulan Mei.
